Residential Inspections

Residential inspections are comprehensive evaluations of a home’s condition, typically performed before buying, selling, or maintaining a property. An inspector examines major structural components, mechanical systems, roofing, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and overall safety features to identify any existing issues or potential future concerns.

Radon Testing

Radon testing measures the level of radon gas present in a home to ensure a safe living environment. Radon is a naturally occurring, odorless radioactive gas that can seep into houses through cracks and openings in the foundation. Long-term exposure to elevated radon levels can pose serious health risks, so testing helps identify whether mitigation is needed.

Sewer Scope Inspections

Sewer scope inspections involve using a specialized camera to examine the condition of a home’s underground sewer line. This inspection helps identify issues such as blockages, root intrusion, pipe deterioration, or breaks that could lead to costly repairs if left unnoticed. By getting a clear view of the sewer system’s health, homeowners and buyers can make informed decisions, plan necessary maintenance, and avoid unexpected plumbing emergencies.

Thermal Imaging

Included FREE with your home inspection
Thermal imaging uses infrared technology to detect heat patterns and temperature differences within a home, revealing issues that may not be visible during a standard inspection. This tool can identify hidden problems such as moisture intrusion, missing insulation, electrical hotspots, and air leaks. By providing a deeper look into the home’s performance and potential defects, thermal imaging helps homeowners and buyers gain a clearer understanding of the property’s condition and improve energy efficiency and safety.

Frequently Asked Questions

A home inspection is an objective visual examination of the physical structure and systems of a house, from the roof to the foundation. Home inspections are designed to protect the buyer, by revealing problems they might not have noticed otherwise.

Our home inspections start at $375. The cost will vary based on the square footage of the home, the age of the home, and location of the home. Call, text, or email us for a quote today!

Home inspections generally take 2 to 4 hours to complete. The duration of a home inspection depends on many factors such as the size of the home, the condition of the home, and the ability to access certain areas of the home (roof, crawl space, attic, etc.).

Although it is not necessary, we do recommend that you attend the inspection so you can ask questions and learn more about the home. You will learn a lot from the inspection report, but we always encourage you to attend!

It is important to note that no house is perfect. At the end of the home inspection process, we will provide a detailed report that describes the physical condition of the property, with images and videos highlighting what may need repair or replacement. The information provided is to allow a potential buyer to make an informed decision about moving forward with the transaction. It is not pass or fail.
